Good morning and welcome back to an Out of This World Week!! Thank you all for your endless dedication to kiddos, to your teams and to our Curtsinger family!

Monday, Sept. 22

• Paige Brewer meets with math reps in the lounge at 8:05 during GMC
• GMC: PTA will introduce the Reflections program
• STARS meets at 3:20 in the science lab: Grades Kinder, 1 and 2
• Maureen and Kathy Stroud at district crisis training

Tuesday, Sept. 23

• Science reps meet at 3:20 in the conference room for a quick meeting.

Wed., Sept. 24

• J’Lynn and Beth Solomon at District crisis training
• Faculty meeting at 3:20 in Pod 2 for nurses to train on EPI Pen and vote for Campus Site Based committee
• Team Leaders at 3:45 in lounge after the faculty meeting

Thursday, Sept. 25

• Team meetings for Names and Needs of students canceled during conference period. We will meet at the end of the nine weeks.
• CATS committee members meet at 3:20 in the science room.

Friday, Sept. 26

• Fire drill at 8:10
• Grades due to Cindy Reames for progress reports. I will send a reminder about details of grades for progress reports later on Monday.

Monday, Sept. 29

• STARS meeting at 3:20 in the science lab for 3rd, 4th, 5th grade teachers.

Tuesday, Sept. 30

• Picture Day!
• Curtsinger Site Based Committee at 3:30 in Pod 2.

Don’t Forget!

• Watch the Harrassment video which will be set up in the lounge sometime this week and sign that you have watched this. Everyone is required to view the entire training.
• Hospitality dues. We all support each other in times of need and in times of celebration through this fund. If you have any questions, please let me know.
• Our Campus Site Based committee will be voted on Wednesday. According to state policy this committee is comprised of a parent rep, community rep, district administrator rep and 2/3 of the faculty. This is an information gathering group that meets four times a year. If you are selected for this committeed, the first meeting is Tuesday, Sept. 30.

Please remind students:

• Of hallway procedures. Students should be picked up by teachers on time from specials.
• To be on time each day, leaving all toys at home.
• Of our cookie dough fundraiser.
• Of our PTA Reflection contest. The theme this year is “WOW!”
  

The week of Sept. 29 is Homecoming Week with lots of exciting days planned for us! Coach Beeler and Coach Morgan have a very special spirit assembly planned for us on Friday, Oct. 3! We will have a live video telecast between Curtsinger, Smith, Gunstream, Shawnee Trail and Centennial HS! This is a first in Frisco and all five schools will be watching each other on the screen as our own Coach Beeler and Coach Morgan lead everyone in the largest pep ralley in the history of FISD!! More to come!
